Pwll Deri hostel
For the special request of Mr Charles. Those are photos from scenic and remote place that I admire – Pwll Deri, Pembrokeshire, Wales. I have taken those pics last October and never had a chance to make them presentable. This is just a sample of few. I will try to post some more. Charlie I do promise.
And how I ended up there? Me and Sara, other teacher from my previous school, went during half term for holiday to Wales. We both tried to rest from the hectic task of dealing with teens so I came up with the plan of finding a nice and picturesque place for small walks that will give a chance to take a pic or two.
It had taken a bit of researching to find Pwll Deri, beautifully place Youth Hostel Just in the middle of nowhere settled charmingly on the edge of the cliff. It made us step directly into sisters Bronte books. Nostalgic, powerful, constantly changing skies and pretty empty coast trails. In one word – stunning.
Pwll Deri had also another hidden treasure to give. We had luck to meet Charlie there, another teacher with a vision and a will who I can say is a great friend and even better guide (well MA in art architecture is a very useful thing). I would like to thank him for pushing me to put that pic on the blog.
