I’ve just been back from my photo night at Dunchurch Photographic Society where we were holding an expert critique evening with Graham Hodgkiss. I have to say that it is a very satisfying thing to listen to someone that knows an awful about the craft and has been doing it for longer that I’ve lived. Mr Hodgkiss has very wide knowledge, both in principals of photography and in post processing and he made the evening very interesting.  As usual level of submitted pictures varied.  I put two of my own ones. One pic of Ange, my flatmate, and one that has been taken in October in St Davies cathedral.  Happily none of them have been rubbished.

Comment about first one was that the face is too still and it would improve a lot by engaging mouth a bit more. So be prepared Ange, I will practice on you pretty soon.
